The Tano Bora Coalition also known as the Fast Five Coalition or the Magnificent Five. The coalition consists of 5 males born to 3 different mothers. They are M58 aka Olpadan, M70 aka Leboo, M71 aka Olaretoni aka Winda, M72 aka Olarishani, M73 aka Olonoyok. Olpadan means “Sharp Shooter”; Leboo means “The one who is always within the team”; Olaretoni means “supporter or assistant”, Winda means “Hunter”; Olarishani means judge; Olonoyok means “The one who puts effort to achieve good results. This coalition was formed in 2016. The males mated with different female cheetahs such as Nora, Nashipai and Rani at different times. The coalition was capable of bringing down huge prey. In 2019 in a intraspecific fight between the males Olpadan’s testicle was injured. After undergoing treatment Oldpadan was weak and went from the most dominant member to the least dominant member of the coalition. Olarishani and Winda/Olaretoni became the leaders. Later Olpadan tried joining a coalition of 2 which consists of Mkali and Mwanga but had no success so he returned to the other males. In around mid 2021 Olpadan left Tano Bora for mating and ended up creating a coalition which would consist of 1 other male-Naibosho. Eventually this coalition of 2 fell apart; olpadan is now single and M70, M71, M72, M73 still form a coalition of 4 called the Nne Bora Coalition as of 2021.
