There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
" It does look like a giraffe. It has likely already been partly dismembered, so wouldn’t weigh as much as it would’ve when alive.
Still, it’s a very impressive feat by the leopard! "
Yes, I admit not to have seen the initial word giraffe calf in the #309.
As concerns #312, yes I admit too " the male lion drags hippo like a toy " over ... perhaps 50 centimeters. And this hippo wasn't a full adult one.
Now that these big cats animals are going to be extinct, there is this urgent need to maximize their lesser feat by overwhelming it: "a lion drags an hippo around like a toy" becomes "A lion drags around a toy" and finally "A lion drags a toy around over 50 centimeters", thus where is the feat ?
I love the lions and the big cats for what they deeply are, but I don't feel the need to exaggerate their lesser act.
