-1/2 Maji ya Fisi young male at Naboisho Conservancy-

"A Maji-ya-Fisi lion suddenly emerges from a ravine, right next to which, our car was parked. He was easily close enough to reach out and touch. In my excitement, I cropped his ears out of the frame. 
It's hard to tell who was the more surprised. I had been standing up when he popped up and had to promptly sit down to avoid frightening him."
