There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
I'm not sure why the silence on the Othawa Pride, Hairy Belly, and the Tumbelas. In my opinion, that's where the most exciting action is these days in SS. But, oh well...
Have those new cubs just disappeared? died? What will happen/is happening to the sub-adults? Are all the Othawas deceiving the young Tumbelas or are they actually going into heat? What do the rangers really feel? Are Junior and his cousins sticking together more often than not? How are the subs hunting these days? Are some of the Othawa lionesses sticking with the Tumbelas or do they often go off on their own from time to time? Are there still suckle marks on Junior's mom? Where are Junior and the other subs hanging out alone? Do they seem to be managing well or so-so?
Any pictures and especially videos would be welcome....
A whole series could be done on the drama happening! I do follow the other lions and coalitions in SS....not quite as keenly. I like to know about the N'was and Styx Pride, too. The single lionesses are always interesting to follow. The nomadic males! Where will they go and what will they do next? The Southern Avoca are not covered as much as they should be, either, imho.
