Once Were Lions.
The Majingilane have probably been the most successful male lion coalition on Londolozi in the past decade.
Fathering multiple offspring and being dominant over many different prides during their reign, their territory got so big that they were only able to patrol it effectively by continually splitting up, so sightings of the coalition together were rare.
On this morning they were trailing the Tsalala pride, and for a few brief minutes paused to rest on the northern side of the Sand River opposite Varty Camp.
