In my personal opinion,The Othawa male is around one of the most handsome lions in Sabi Sands,That mane!,That stare! What a beast!!
Not just Sabi Sands but Kruger as a whole. Sabi Sands has housed extremely handsome lions over the years like, Blondie Nkuhuma, Pretty Boy ,Ratsa, Ndunha, Nhenha, Nsuku, Hip Scar and now the Othawa Male, the Torchwood Young Male and the Styx Young Male are some of the most beautiful lions around. Junior and the 2 Othawa and some of the Kambula Young Males look like they will be very handsome as well.
Totally agree! The Othawa male has one of the most epic and incredible manes that I never have see on a lion at such young age! He's definitely going to be a true beast
I don't think the Othawa Male will develop any further. Just like his brother, the Styx Male, his mane might get darker but that's about it. He is entering his prime at 5+ years and is in prime condition. Unlike the Tumbela who can still grow out their manes and bulk up, he is healthy. Same goes for 3 of the N'waswitshaka. The gored male needs to further develop but with his injury, I'm just not sure how much he can with his injury but we will see.
Who knows, The lions reach their prime at the age of 7 to 8 years old, At least, I think, The Othawa male will developed even more. Perhaps in size, height or weight.
He is looking very good in this video and screenshots, and It's because the OM had a very good life comparing to other young males
No its because he has nothing more to develop, that he won't. Lions also stop growing at the age of around 4 to 5 years old just like humans stop at a certain age. He is also in peak physical condition so he cant bulk anymore either. I don't think he will physically change after this besides a darker mane, scars and ageing.
