Last day, a team of three scientists from the Wildlife Institute of India Dehradun saw possibilities of bringing a cheetah or tiger to Madhav National Park. The cheetah is most expected to come in it. Since cheetahs are on the verge of extinction in India, they are called Zimbabwe or South Africa 

The biggest challenge in bringing cheetahs to Madhav National Park is about safety. The team believes that at least 12 feet of fencing will have to be done around the park for the cheetah. So that the cheetah cannot go out. Apart from this, he will have to make more changes in the environment so that he can adapt to the cheetah. The forest department has shown three to four places to the scientists where the cheetah can be inhabited. 

Cheetah will live in open environment, it will also be able to hunt. 

The Tiger Safari was started in 1988 inside the National Park on the initiative of the then Union Minister Madhavrao Scindia. There were tigers named Gourmet and Tara whose number reached 10 at one time. At that time, the tiger lived in a closed environment, ie a large pijinre. This time the cheetah will come in an open environment. There will also be chital etc. in his area which he will be able to hunt. 

Cheetah or tiger is necessary for eco system to attract tourists 

A forest has its own eco system. It is also necessary to have hunter animals so that balance is maintained. This eco system will be completed with the arrival of a cheetah or tiger in the park. On the other hand, it will increase tourism and it will become a center of attraction among tourists. This will not only develop the park, but will also directly increase more employment. 

These challenges are coming 

- Many farms are also in the park. The cheetah has the nature of running at a quiet pace. In the field, he finds a good place to run, so he runs to that side. 

- Jhansi highway passes through the park. Also, people enter the park incorrectly. It is necessary to cover the park for this. 

- The construction of 12 feet of fence around the park is years of work and the expense is very high because the area of the park is very large. Only after accepting the proposal to bring cheetah, its work can be done on a war footing.
