"the helis were used to move the cages into wadis (canyons) using cables underneath them. The cages would then stay there and any leopards trapped would be studied and collared in the field, at the location where they were caught. The leopard project is ongoing but they have shifted away from trapping and collaring for now, relying more on camera traps."
