There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

" Meerkats are forever busy from the moment they stick their heads out of the burrow. The first head (being the scout) pops out shortly after sunrise to ensure it is safe for the family to get up and active.

Once the scout has scanned the area and gives the “safe to get active” call, heads start popping up everywhere. This family consisted of 11 individuals and because of their vulnerable size, they rely heavily on safety in numbers.
The first thirty to forty minutes will be their “quiet time” where they sit and just enjoy the warm rays of the morning sun. During this time, their heads NEVER stop moving as they are continuously on the lookout for a potential threat.
These adorable critters are so much fun to spend time with as they are forever busy, the scene is forever changing and you are never left with a dull moment. "
