There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Nat-geo & Discovery glorify lions to garner higher TRP from the audience back home US (& may be Europe). This is bcoz lion is glorified in Bible & the catholic audience (back home) would love to see a lion win. This should explain the Animal face-off episode where lion was declared the victor in a fight against tiger & why everything about lion-land (Africa) is holier.

Dave Salmoni was the tiger expert in that episode, I'm not aware of any tiger research by Salmoni in India & he is considered an expert on Bengal Tiger. May be he became an expert reading books by Clyde Beaty.   Lol

No it’s because lions are interesting and Unique to big cats . But tigers here in America are just as popular as lions . Also David salmoni worked with tigers and lions hence why he’s an expert. But I don’t think lions are CLEARLY favored over tigers in America it may be like that in Europe but I don’t know for sure ,but the tiger is more respected than the lion in Asia especially India but lions are respected too if there were more lions in India then they would be a lot more popular in India/Asia.
