There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
After losing 1 of their youngest members to the 3 Mjejane male Lions, 4 of the remaining 5 young males returned very cautiously to the area where their partner was defeated and killed 2 days after the incident.
We could sense their apprehensiveness as they were on the lookout for the 3 powerful territory holders. Luckily for all of them the 3 big Mjejane males had moved far off to the west to be with the core of their pride. The largest and most dominant of the 5 young males was nearby mating with a lioness in the territory of the 3 Mjejane males, quite a risky strategy...
The 5 have since moved north in to Kruger National Park. It will be interesting to see if and when they return. Considering they have been with one of the lionesses, they will most likely be back!! This story is probably far from over, hopefully we are able to provide more updates soon.
