I feel like unrelated males just to spent less time togeter as well as they are not as much willing to follow coalition partner into battle. I am talking in general so pls don't point me out Thanda Impi coalition as such happens as well, but De Laporte might be like for example Solo and Cleo which had no teamplay what so ever. What I am going to is that I wouldn't be suprised at all if Avocas go and catch one of De Laporte by himself, even through De Laporte as supperior numerically coalition has bigger firepower than Avocas as coalition.
Well it might be the case in some examples, if the bond is not as strong or they are new coalition.. But look at Mpondos, they are mostly not related, and they are elite coalition, they are together since young nomadic days, so they prob feel like real brothers now..
But yea, DeLaporte males gruop together at the age of 6/7 and are not that long together still, so your claim might be true, but we dont know..
I think it's a mistake to put as an example the case of the Mpondo with the Delaporte coalition, the Mpondo had this interaction and experiences since they were very young, they made very strong bonds through the years, the Delaporte males don't have even one year formed, for me the Delaporte coalition by the number of members is stronger, but nothing is written!
