There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"755M .. Spent an intimate Memorial weekend morning with this amazing wolf amid the tranquil and serene waters of the Yellowstone River. Did you know that 755M (former mate to the famous 06 alpha female of the Lamar Canyon Pack and current mate to the alpha female of the Wapiti Lake Pack - the daughter of the Canyon Pack's white alpha female) is the only alpha male in Yellowstone's 21-year history of wolf reintroduction to be the founder of two different wolf packs? I’ve followed the triumphs and challenges of this wolf since 2010 and rejoice each time we meet again! Come join us and schedule your intimate adventure at http://www.wolftracker.com!"

WAPITI WOLVES - MOTHER & DAUGHTER ... Spent most of a morning recently along the shoreline of the Yellowstone River in Hayden Valley with the ever-whitening alpha female of the Wapiti Lake Pack and her yearling daughter. Both the mother and daughter are gray wolves, but the mother carries the genes of the white matriarchs before her, and her coat whitens seemingly with each passing month. The white matriarchs before her are her mother, the 11-year-old alpha female of the Canyon Pack and part of the oldest mated pair in the history of reintroduced Yellowstone wolves (9 years and counting), and her grandmother, the famous alpha female 540F of the Hayden Valley Pack .. the whitest of them all!

HONORING 926F

"Wolf #926F of the Lamar Canyon Pack was recently legally shot by a hunter when the pack was outside of the protection of Yellowstone Park, near Cooke City, Montana. We are sure that wildlife enthusiasts worldwide, like us, are deeply saddened by the news. Wolf #926F was the daughter of the “06 Female, that was the subject of the book American Wolf. The ‘06 Female was shot by a hunter in Wyoming in 2012. These cases emphasize the need to end hunting of wolves on the boundary of Yellowstone Park where they are so highly valued.
This footage is of #926F with the alpha male of the pack, “Small Dot,” during happier times in 2017. #wolves #926 #yellowstone"

"Throwback to a few winters ago when the Canyon Pack alpha female frequented the park roads in the winter for ease of travel in her advanced age. Here she is howling for the rest of the pack.
