Daniel Rosengren: " My family portrait of the Vumbi pride. This lion pride was made world famous in the Aug 2013 issue of National Geographic. It is a very interesting true story written by David Quammen, "The Short Happy Life of a Serengeti Lion" (can be read online) with fantastic photos by Michael "Nick" Nichols.

This is not the whole pride on the photo, but, one adult female with seven cubs and youngsters.
