Excellent… “Afsaal” also
Means to unpack/set up camp so with them
finding their new territory after being ousted in the area of Afsaal, it has a nice ring to it.
That’s what Louis at Jock said to me about the name

Could be the Othawa subs? I have no photo of any Othawa subs but whisker patterns are pretty clear on those photos so I would appreciate if anyone help me identify these 4

But yeah that other guy seen is the youngest renosterkoppies someone posted a video of him with that pic

Idk, found his older pictures, this ones are posted in June 2019, but not sure if thats the date when taken:

Because this is his photo only 4 months later in October 2019:

Can mane grow like that in such a short period?

For comparison, this are pictures of younger Renosterkoppies males from same month, October 2019, blonded male at the right:

They definitely look much younger then him, should be around 2.5-3 yrs old then, while "older" male looks like 4 yrs old at that photo in October 2019.

I mean im not sure, if he is Mpondos son, he is then ultra developed for his age, because Mpondos offspring in Renosterkoppies pride should not be born before late 2016, is this 3 yrs old lion? :

But then there is question, if he is not Mpondos son, how did he survive..

That coalition is down to 1, perhaps 2 members. They never had 4 males.
Though Jr could have joined another coalition. Chances are against it being them.

Yeah, it's sad about that magnificent coalition. But, at least, they left amazing offspring, like this male, 1/3 Renosterkoppie males seen yesterday on S1

The old Jock males could be potentially fathers of the bigger Renosterkoppies male, In my personal opinion, the resemblances are quite high. Body and mane size as well. Definitely, the Renosterkoppies male carry some good bloodline. Even if he isn't son of the old Jock males. His bloodline must be a strong one. such a big mane for a young age.
