There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"Scar this morning.
He looked very frail. He limped very hard and could not follow the others to the mountain. A lioness stayed with him with a cub. He looked hungry and I hope the Lionesses have a kill today."

From Mara Lion Project
Croton Island Male, one of the two that now control the 6 Moniko subs and the 4 Iseketa subs. Recently, they have been around Naronyo, Observation and Near Kicheche Camps in Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Here, 'good boy' gives Femke Broekhuis a nice pause for a photo.

Is Morani usually that much taller than Scar or is it the angle?

I think it's angle, plus Morani stretching up while Scar is like hunching down.
