Woah, where did you find this @majingilane?
I don't see it on his FB page.

As big as Link 7 is, I don't think he's ready to take on the monster KF just yet.
Maybe 1-2 more years, he is the son of Munna, so he has a fighters bloodline.

Edit: NVM, I found it.

Vijayarajan Muthu
Gutsy guy !

While a herd of Gaur is enough to force a Tiger out of a waterhole more often than not, Link-7 Male simply refused to be intimidated on this occasion and spent quite some time cooling off in the Umarjhola Talao. He eventually beat a hasty retreat but only after the huge Gaur burst out into a full-on charge. Gotta love this guy's attitude !

Press “F” to watch him in Full screen view.

Link-7 Male a.k.a Chota Munna, April 2016, Kanha Tiger Reserve.

Suphkar Male at Digdola.
This particular guy has been sighted at different places throughout Kanha over the last couple of years - Mukki to begin with, then Kanha zone, and now Kisli zone.
Not seen as regularly as the other males.

ya, that's what it seemed like after reading the comments. Tfs
They also said link 7 has lost quite bit of mass which is usually a sign of an older tiger.

Link 7 is not an older tiger.
Link 7 and Kingfisher are younger males entering there prime.
Umarpani and Bheema are older than KF and link 7.

The 4 BIG Guns of Mukki

The 4 males who rule Mukki are Kingfisher, Link7, Umarpani and Bheema.
Among these 4 males Kingfisher dominated Umarpani in several territorial battles.
Link7 (Chotta Munna) defeated Bheema and took a big part of his territory.
Umarpani dominated Link7 in their encounter.
Now Kingfisher chased off Link7.

So the current stand is

Kingfisher > Umarpani > Link7 > Bheema

But remember that these 4 males still rule the Mukki range. So anything can happen in the future.

Umarpani is an extraordinary male and has been around Mukki for a long time and the only male he has ever lost to was Kingfisher. Bheema and Chota Munna are slightly under their league. I heard Kingfisher chased and injured Chota Munna in early April as well. Tfs

Kingfisher > Umarpani > Link7 > Bheema

All of this is such interesting information.

And frankly, it surprises me. I would have never put Bheema last in that "rank", maybe I'm very impressed with how he looks, but I thought of him as second after Kingfisher.

This is why I always try to learn more about Tigers. Because, without this kind of updates that show this insight on their lives, all we have left is just pictures and a handful of videos, and those can be a bit misleading or at least can be interpreted in a biased way(as we usually saw in the vs threads of past forums).

Thank you @Apollo and @Roflcopters for all of this info.

Hi Rage,

Kindly note, KF & CM are not of the same age.

While KF was born during the Monsoons of 2010 to the Nila Nallah Female in a litter of 3 (2 Males & 1 female cub), CM was born in December 2011 to the Mundi Dadar Female (Link-7) in a litter of 3 (1 Male & 2 female cubs). Hence, KF is at least 15-16 months older than CM (Chota Munna).

I understand from the Field staff that while KF\'s sister has been camera trapped in an area outside tourism zone, his brother hasn't been camera trapped since 2014-15.
