Most current and up to date size comparison from Franoys. Each one of the silhouettes based on rigorous skeletal diagrams drawn following the most up to date data and osteological studies in the scientific literature. Mass estimated via Graphical double integration with a high fidelity mathematical script

The 2 classic dinosaurs of everyone's childhoods!
Tyrannosaurus rex (CM 9380, 11.9 meters TL, 7.5 tonnes) vs Brontosaurus (CM 3018, 23 meters TL, at least 22 tonnes). Both skeletals by Hartman

Size comparison removed; it was improperly scaled. I'll post a better one in just a moment.[/i][/b]

Alright, rescaled it.

CM 9380 Tyrannosaurus rex (11.9 meters, 7.5 tonnes) vs OMNH 1670 Apatosaurus (28 meters and ~52 tonnes based on this GDI). Bear in mind the estimated adult OMNH 1670 would be about twice as big. Skeletals are by Hartman; I suggest ignoring the apatosaur scalebar as I've upsized it to 20% more than what the scalebar says

I posted this eariler but the resolution was low and the scaling was off. This is better.

Holotype of Tyrannosaurus rex (11.9 meters axial length, 7.5 tonnes) vs paratype of Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum (~35 meters total length, 75 tonnes). Scalebar is 1 meter, skeletal credit goes to Hartman and Greg Paul respectively.

The Spino holotype sure looks small compared to the holotypes of T-rex, Gigo & Carcho, and about the same as the Mapu holotype. I don't remember seeing that before.

CM 9380 Tyrannosaurus rex (11.9 meters, 7.5 tonnes) vs adult estimate for OMNH 1670 (~35 meters and ~100 tonnes scaling up). Skeletals by Hartman; I advise ignoring the Apatosaurus scalebar as I scaled the animal up 50%

Max Palaeoloxodon antiquus (4.2 meters SH, 15 tonnes) vs adult OMNH 1670 Apatosaurus (~37 meters TL and a bit over 100 tonnes). Skeletals are by Larramendi and Hartman respectively; black scalebar on bottom left is 1 meter

The old chart was off so I rescaled this.

Asia's largest land mammal vs Asia's largest dinosaur - Palaeoloxodon namadicus vs Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum.
Palaeoloxodon namadicus is scaled to ~500 cm shoulder height and is 22 tonnes, while Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum is scaled to ~35 meters total length and is 75 tonnes. Skeletals are by Asier Larramendi and Greg Paul, respectively.

You don't actually think this is REAL, do you? A bull elephant and a male lion standing 2 feet in front of each other and one has it's eyes closed and the other is looking off in a different direction.
