There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I read that on the wikipedia link: https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Ballari

" Parks and Zoos- City municipal office has been continuous making effort to make Ballari a clean and Green city. They have come up with few good parks like Dr.RajKumar park, Kaage Park, Radio Park(the oldest park in city) etc. Ballari Zoo is a small area in cantonement that boasts of an impressive collection of animals: Lions, tigers, bears, peacocks, deer, monkey, ostrich etc. However, the zoo is tiny, and the living condition of the animals is really heartbreaking. Animals are confined to small cells with barely any space to move. Many of the monkeys and bears have gone mad because of this lack of movement. The cages are dirty and though cleaning has improved off late, there is an urgent need for the animals to be rehabilitated into more humane surroundings.  "

On your video, we can see a lion running after a vehicle in open air. So what ? What is it true ? Are tigers and lions the only beasts which can live healthily ? Because on "The News minute" it is told that tigers and lions have their territories there...

That Wiki article was created in 2015. As of now, it isn't that small: https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_R...ataka.html

OK thank you, they make really significiant efforts... I believed that the wikipedia sources were regularly updated.

Yes, but that's Wikivoyage, which is a separate compartment in Wikipedia to the one with the regular articles, like Wikimedia Commons.

Lake Nakuru National Park ? There was no one lion in this Park in 1989... They were introduced during the following decade. No doubt that with a male such like this one the descent is ensured.
