There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yes, there are.
Very few, of course, but they do exist. The place I know that regularly produces white lions is the Timbavati reserve, I'm sure there are more as well.
Another Kalahari legend... for years he were the dominant male in the Nossob area. Beginning 2016 the three Polentswa brothers took over the pride.
I took this photo of him during November 2013 at Rooikop waterhole, a few kilometer south of Nossob Camp.
Since January 2016, when he lost the dominance over the Nossob pride, he and his partner settled in the Kwang area, 22 kilometer north of Nossob Camp.
The last time I saw him was in January 2018. Full of scars from to his fight with the Polentswa brothers but still looking good and in good health.
