I would like to show you another kill of the leopard with the two wildebeest kills in a tree, he also took this zebra up another tree. He is very powerful to take that zebra up there...

Urban Leopards Can Save Lives By Eating Feral Dogs

That’s because 40 percent of the average leopard’s diet consists of feral or stray dogs, the researchers found. The density of feral dogs in and around the national park is an average of 17 dogs per square kilometer compared to other parts of Mumbai away from the park boundary that can have upwards of 680 dogs per square kilometer.

The study found that the small population of leopards “may consume about 1,500 dogs per year, saving around 1,000 bite incidents and 90 potential rabies cases.” The presence of leopards was also estimated to save $18,000 in dog management costs.

Adult male leopard hunts a gnu / leopard double kill

Masai Mara, Kenya 2016.   A male leopard temporarily called "Daddy" breaks down a juvenile wildebeest, leaves it on the ground, and then immediately breaks down an adult female wildebeest, probably the mother. While the leopard is smothering the adult, the baby recovers and runs past the leopard smothering it's mother. The leopard lets go of the mother wildebeest and chases after and catches the juvenile. While the leopard is smothering the juvenile, the mother starts coughing and struggles to her feet. I honestly thought she was dying, but she somehow recovers enough to try to run away. The leopard, still choking the juvenile, sees what has happened, lets go of the juvenile, and chases the mother wildebeest. The mother Wildebeest turns on the leopard and escapes. The leopard returns to the juvenile, dispatches it, and drags it back to a tree near the den where he and a leopard temporarily called "Mama" have hidden their two cubs.
