There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

He looks great.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one that put the final nail in his father's coffin. A very fitting end.

Good bye, Prince!
Every Tiger has its prime and Prince had a glorious prime!
His habitat was surrounded by fringe villages and the bustling Bandipur highway but not once did he lift a human being.
Of course, there were cattle kills but I still remember a dedicated FD watching over a kill the entire evening so that the locals don't poison it.
One of boldest Tigers that I've known is no more today. We don't even have a count of how many male tigers he killed to keep his territory. Prince ruled a vast kingdom but he wanted everything under the sky. He would just vanish for 10-15 days to patrol his kingdom and re-appear in one of his favourite waterholes, sometime badly beaten. His charm, his innocent looks, his ladies, his Gaur kills, so many memories with this guy!
Every male tiger deserves to live like Prince.

according to the top guys at Tiger protection society page, Raja has a record of 6 kills. 5 males and 1 female but i have documented proof of at least 3 rival males that he killed in his time to retain his top position in the Bandipur hiearchy. Raja was truly one of the greatest male tiger from the South and he was extremely camera friendly. Rip

One of the fine evening,The forest looked very dry but the chances for sighting is too high becoz of the hot sun..My first time visit to kabini with Robin Son bro and the first safari started, we drived slowly into the forest..As soon as we entered into the Zone A within a 5mins we sighted this male tiger got up from the water and gave a stare look like telling me this is my territory take me some snaps and leave this place soon and he moved from this place..Very happy to sight a male tiger in kabini that to very closely with eye to eye contact..Sighting a tiger needs luck and patience inside the forest but when it happens the days becomes very crazy..Thanks a lot to Robin bro for arranging a safari..
