There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The Matimba coalition

This dispels the notion that HB was on his legs, as I expected. Not a huge distance from malamala to elephant plains but still a good distance for an old and limping lion.

I disagree they can still be dominant, I feel that there      Exploring different territory and checking and give them time and when hairy belly recovers they'll be back.

Someone said Ginger is dead. Other people say it's not true. However, there are 5 days or more hb is seen alone.

Hairy Belly does not have broke leg. He was limping a little bit but not to bad.

Video from Safari live, answering a question as to if it was normal that HB is/was hanging out in the B males territory.

The mapogos did get hammered one by one though. The majingalanes took out KT, then they took out rasta(sure his body wasn't found but we definitely heard the confrontation) and badly injured pretty boy. Dreads was poached and T was cornered by the selaties and chose to fight a 1 vs 4 fight instead of running. Pretty boy and Mak chose to flee in old age. So, three of them got hammered and one was poached, the last two would have gotten hammered by the selaties but made the right choice to run. Tristan explained it in general terms but he wasn't that far off the mark.
