There's the very real possibility of being two of the Matimba males, because we know they were starting to make very timid approachs in that northern area and also there was the suspicion that the males involved were non other than the Othawa males, the sons of the Mapogo.

Some rejected this, obviously because they didn't want having to accept that two younger males had just defeated the Mapogos, but there's room for the posibility of it because, after all, no one knows really what happened, or who were the males involved.

I completely forgot to share this,It could be the 2 young kahuma/nkuhuma males
They were mating with the Ottawa's lionesses.
Like I said before the Matimba were far away,it wasn't them

A MATIMBA male lion shakes his mane after being drenched by a summer thunder shower. The movement makes me think of a domestic dog, so incongruous with this wild cat.

Matimbas back in Londolozi- 11 Dec 2016

It's been some time since we last saw the Matimba males, so it was a great surprise to have found them again yesterday morning. The lighter maned male posed majestically for us as he kept an eye out for his brother.
