Since your IP tracker states that you are located in South Africa, do you regularly go to most of their parks (Rhino & Lion, Kruger, etc...) or at least have first-class access to them? Reply

I am in South Africa and I go to the Kruger National Park once a month.I am addicted.A Wild Card allows me free access to all Sanparks Reserves. Reply

That is wicked cool. I'd love to go to a nature park every month, but college is the top priority. Also, I have went to the Rhino & Lion Game Park in my trip to South Africa in 2013, as well a private sanctuary. Check out one of my threads:

Which male are you looking at? 181 or 183?I cant see the pic.The Male in 181 is prob one of the Jock Males and 183 is one of the Mantimale Males based on info I have on their known territories.The Skybeds  are still 9 as far as I know.I did see 2 of the Skybeds about 3 weeks ago at a place called Bobbejaankrans on the H7 sleeping on the banks of the Phelwana river.Have a look at the Skybed Male Lions facebook page and the Skybeds/Orpen Male Lions group on facebook. Cool thread,nice pics.Also try to visit our Kruger National Park.It is the closest you can get to unspoilt nature.It is almost 20 000 square kilometers and is a complete ecosystem on its own.No enclosures.You can self drive or hire an open safari vehicle with a guide that will drive you around. I was unaware of the Jocks thread.Will post there in future.I am quite sure that this is another coalition.I was actually in the Kruger today and met people that saw the Jocks in their known territory today.They are mating at the moment.They control the Lubyelubye and Nwatimhiri prides that I know of and seem quite settled.May I ask where you found out the info on the Jocks moving into Sabi Sand? It is quite possible that the the 5 males seen are the Mantimale Males.They have been seen together around the Kruger tablets and S36 last week.Jock males are still in the Lower Sabie area. Reply

It's more about the "press" they get through social media from the lodges and reserves within the Sabi Sands more than fame in itself. Also, consider that the Kruger is a huge, vast area and the Sabi Sands is, comparatively, small. Reply
