There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

"these boys have been through some battles…

known as Scar & Shaka, the “2 strongest male lions ever documented”, i have heard tales of the Mbiri males’ legacy — they murder other lions, and not in a “it’s just the circle of life” kinda way.

it’s common for male lions to kill others that encroach on their territory, but these two take it to a whole new level of savagery that we don’t need to get into here on this family channel ?

for now, they’re just doing what lions do (sleeping) but i can tell you that that unhinged jaw will haunt me for some time. look at it flap when he walks. our time here is far from over so let’s see if some action awaits…

and as always, message me at @adventurelust.travel for a chance to see these boys irl"
Definitely, his flapping lip adds an extra dose of chilling effect to his look.

He has never been as bulky, but in this video, it seems Shaka is taller than Scar. Those paws on Scar, absolutely enormous, as big as my head! These boys will forever be legends!

Mabotlel Pride seems to be their focus basing on the reports of Ngala Reserve, do not know if there are other prides they rule except Mabotlel Pride.

Mabotlel is their main pride, maybe you could say the Mbiri pride is also in their control as the side pride, especially now after Mandevu's demise, in fact the pride isn't being seen a lot in Northern Manyeleti of late, maybe they're spending most of their time in southern Ngala and if they want, they can easily take all of that over from the 2 Mabotlel females.

Edit: also, another thing, but the footage of the Mbiris in the last video I've shared, rather than a few days ago I think it's probably 2~3 weeks old, it matches previous footage taken in the same day/different angle, they were seen after that not as fat.

Scar again, few days ago:

Sightings of them seems to have increased since they abandoned the Birmingham pride to spend their time in Ngala with the Mabotlel pride.
