Umkumbe is south of Londolozi and north of Sabi Sabi. Obviously they could go back into the north at anytime but they'll most likely have to deal with the Mantimahle Sons if they want to claim it.
I think that from what we have seen so far it is very likely that the Kambulas will return to the north with the Nkuhuma, but that does not mean that they will be able to claim it or even try to, we have seen this story repeat itself many times in the last year.
When was that time when they seemed like they were going to claim the Nkuhumas as all the males were together and mating? i don't recall the dates but correct me if im wrong im thinking that maybe soon some Nkuhuma lionesses should have cubs, right?
Two of them are actively looking for den sites so there should be cubs in the near future barring anything happening to either lioness

I think they have a decent chance to successfully birth their cubbies since there’s the 2 of them. They can trade off and take turns hunting , nursing and defending the babies.
The two of them might attract more attention, I wish them luck!
I may be wrong, but it looks like Kambula males are not around and Mantimahle males could be takiing over this territory.
Let's see how the story goes with this ambiguous paternity... possible fathers of the cubs: Kambulas? Mantimahles? SBDM? PCM? young Nkuhuma male that still stays with the pride?
Most likely fathers are the Kambula Males with Pale Eyes, Amber 2, and RND. If we are talking about Little Amber, she mated with Kambulas, Mantimahles, and Kruger Male.
Mantimahles if I remember correctly only mated with Little Amber and Pale Eyes but probably Kambulas for her as well.
SBDM did not really mate with the Nkuhuma since he got the limp and there are times when the Nkuhuma is even aggressive to him when he goes near them.
PCM not likely the father as they did not venture that far north and the farthest they have gotten is in Londolozi when chasing back and forth with the Ndhzengas.
Nkuhuma Young Male is also unlikely as he seems to be maturing slow also he did separate with the pride from some time and had been only with his sister or SBDM.
Southern Avoca is also unlikely as it seems like Kruger Male is the dominant one and the one that had been always seen mating with Little Amber and roaring.

Ye it's hard to see the Kambulas properly claim the pride aside from just mating with them whenever they link up, but this is the best time for them to do it. There's no real active competition for the pride rn, KM + S.Avoca just wander around all ends of Sabi Sands, and Mantimhales claiming Imbali Pride almost completely killed their chances to control Nkuhuma Pride. I was starting to think they just had mating sessions with the Imbalis and their time together had come to an end til I seen an update recently about them being spotted together in Northern Sabi Sands together.
Another worry for me is what happens when all Nkuhuma females become pregnant or their estrus stops, no matter if cubs are born by that point, there's no saying they stick around when they don't exactly stick around already. We are fortunate Nkuhuma Pride are still quite a young pride as stability like this can directly lead to extinctions, or breakaways at the very least to great prides.
