All of the Matimba Nkuhuma daughters died quite young, relatively for lionesses, all aged 9, 10 or 11. Even Nana, depsite her name, died when she was just about 12. Hopefully these generations of Nkuhumas will be a bit luckier.

Just wanted to share an "enriched version" of the family tree of the current Nkuhuma Pride members, based on the information I found in the same youtube channel (all about lions of Sabi Sands) and other videos. Please tell me if there are any mistakes.

Very helpful, thank you!

I just saw a video of Kambula lioness. Seems a lot of Birmingham daughters might have more cubs. Styxt lioness Birmingham daughter, Nukhuma bring ham daughters, Tsalala? I wonder Styxt lioness will have more cubs from Gijima. Styxt lioness was seen with Nukhulus.

I hope that a new solid coalition settle with Nkuhuma pride once and for all to see those cubs thrive.

A new coalition would kill all cubs though

Hate to be the pessimist but I don't think these cubs have got a good chance of surviving anyway. I think we were all hoping (at least I was) that the Kambula males would get their act together and settle down here but they appear to have more or less left the north, again. If the Nkuhumas start giving birth to the cubs and the Kambulas are no where to be seen, then any males coming in will kill them if they find them, just like the Kambulas did with Chela's cubs.

A new coalition would most likely kill cubs BUT the nkuhumas have mated with S Avoca/Torchwood, Kambula boys, Mantimahl brothers and possibly the Nzingas.
I’m hoping if the males come back around then they think they are the fathers. Hopefully the lionesses are successful! Cubs always have a hard road ahead so good luck to them and mom.

Hi I wanted to say I like your diagrams. You wouldn’t happen to have one on Styxt pride?

Neverthless, there's a reason male coalitions need to take over a pride and dominate them for a spell before protecting future cubs.  Not one of these males will believe 100% that he sired those cubs precisely because the NK Pride has no official coalition that's yet to take over them.  She can mate with 10 different males, and none will have the confidence to protect and die for those cubs without being STABLE pride males with absolute certainty of paternity.  I'll be VERY surprised if those cubs make it.  They will be lucky, honestly.  Maybe that's why only one female is pregnant out of them all.  Most of them have little confidence in these random matings of different coalitions coming in and out of their territory.  Any idea on which lioness is expecting a litter?

Yes I have seen. I was wondering if you read the post then put the diagram. Styxt lionesses are mystery. I know the last lionesses are Birmingham daughters, MJ lionesses, and Rollercoaster lionesses.

I always wondered was Birmingham daughter of Rollercoster lionesses? Also Mj lionesses of older Styxt lionesses split rock or older lionesses.

Also I have been wondering if Rollercoster lionesses has one more daughter; is the lionesses still with the four lionesses.

I think like Nukhuma lionesses there maybe new cubs?
