There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yes Mapoza, their stepdad.
They moved into Sandrigham few years back, nothing on them since, are they alive or dead, nobody knows.
And the black dam pride nothing on both
A big portion, though I don't believe all, of the BD Pride, along with their pride male at the time, Giraffe Male, went into Sandrigham. We don't get reports from there, unfortunately, but, I believe someone is going to buy that property and turn it into a reserve. There have been instances of poaching at Sandrigham, under previous ownership.

Sabi Sabi is building a lodge it’ll open in 2026 but I did hear the rumors of the giraffe male disappearing
In that Titnswalo vid, Matt says that Orpen/Mandevu as well as Mantimahle go deep inside RR's territory and put pressure on him so seeing the eldest son with the new cubs make me wish he'd join his father, otherwise it's difficult to see these cubs having any chances, RR isn't getting any younger either and even in prime, solo males can't do much when outnumbered.
I haven't really been keeping up with coalition dynamics that much of late, especially in the Manyaleti. Without having to read through entire threads, could someone please tell me what's happened to Ncile?
It seems Red Road was in a fight, he has wounds on his face and bite marks on his back, but the ranger thinks he won because he was roaring and scent marking.
He was returning from Kruger, maybe he fought some young nomads there.

Red Road boy is a very tough lion. According to the video, it looks like he probably fought 2 lions and came out roaring and looking for girls.

Will be interesting to follow how far can Red Road go, he is now over 10 yrs old but doesnt look like he is slowing down.

You're right bro. It's just a matter of time for solo King RRM to be dethroned by being outnumbered by any of the coalitions surrounding him.

Maybe, maybe not, he didnt get dethroned for 5+ years.
I think if he can stay in good condition, he might continue to be on the throne.
We saw how Mapoza and S8 where territorial and in great shape even at around 12 yrs of age.
