Basically whatever happened to them to make literally 70% of the coalition sick halted anything they could’ve done and now they’ve lost dreadlocks and #4 lucky they still have #6 at his age but once all 5 get healthy I fear for what will happen plus I believe one of the youngest msuthu cubs got killed by the southern pride this morning I guess one of the litter of 4

A few months ago Francois Fourie said once that apparently the older unrelated male (Dreadlock) along with a Nkuhlu male (#4) had moved into Kruger... Would honestly be amazing if they resurfaced from there having a territory of their own or whatever, but as said multiple times and sorry for being so repetitive about it, my hopes get lower by each passing day even thought they still exist.

During the past couple of months they have been looking healthier than ever (since their decline ofc).
All males often with full bellies even thought some of them (#3 ) still have their typical skinny hindquarters. On the other hand, #5 who was one of the skinniest has turned out to be one of the bulkiest and healthiest nowadays, recovering his mane and improving his physical condition alot, surely is the son of Characol Mane!

Same I hope they are both alive but that fact that we used to only see 4 in sabi sands regularly and #6 was mostly in Kruger so was he alone and why did he decide to join the others… I feel like if we saw the plains camp pride more we’d have a better understanding but that’s almost impossible
Apparently, one of the Nkhulu males was caught by the Gijima Males. Apologies as I can’t tell which male this one is. But if someone more knowledgeable than me could help that would be great !

Snip Tail Nkuhlu (#2).
Lets hope we get some picture of his hindlegs to see the extent of his injuries. Hopefully a quick recover
"Oh well.. I have 4 or 5 brothers around, but I'm going to just run over here to this area where I know 2 male lions are, and see what I see all by myself...." --Snip Tail Nkhulu... Probably.
From the description it doesn't look as bad as one could have expected, the Gijimas have not decisively "knocked" a male out since the elder Ndhzenga male, despite getting Kambulas twice and Tumbela.
ST is the boldest and most aggressive Nkuhlu, maybe why he ended up being caught. For the coalition it'd be a massive blow if the injuries are very serious, while for Gijimas it'd be a huge miss of opportunity to not finish him off as it'd massively increase the chances they wouldn't lose their territory to the Nkuhlu in the future.

Kambula K4 can relate.
Was about to comment something like that lol,you were faster
Does it look like he’s lost the eye? Or potentially it will heal the same way as Nkuhuma Male and almost close over. Anyway, this does seem like a missed opportunity for Gijima Males although we don’t know exactly how the confrontation played out. The main thing is they responded to the Nkhulus and repelled them back again, so far they are putting up a strong resistance to every threat the Nkhulus pose which is all you can ask of them in an overall 2 vs 5 scenario.
