He could have made a huge difference for them at the moment being down to two. Maybe he might helped them not losing a member as well.

Difference was quite big at that stage, ~1.5 yrs, when white and bros left, he was not mature enough to leave his natal pride without being forces to do so.

Maybe if he and white company where ousted by some males, then he would prob stick with them.

Mbiris took half the pride before, but he and Ross males sticked with other half thru 2023.

One of the Vuyela males was seen moving with intent
after hearing the distant roars from the Birmingham Breakaway males.

Birmingham Pride and Mbiri Males:
From my observation with the Birmingham Pride that there are so many individuals in the pride and it shows in their body sometimes with not big enough meals, that with having many mouths to feed they share on what they can with others and also having a 2 big male the Mbiri Males that would always get their lion share. It goes to shows that many is not always good and is not always bad, well it's like yin and yang type of balance.

Also from what I have seen videos of the Mbiri Males especially Zigzag is quite aggressive during meal even to cubs as far as I know male lions somewhat tolerate cubs when it is feeding but from the videos I saw he just smack the sh** out off them and chase cubs away from a meal.

I barely remember the Mbiris bonding with each other, rubbing heads and what not, maybe I've seen it twice only despite we having tons of footage of them.

I remember them sleeping with cubs in their paws sometimes, but during feeding frenzy they don't tolerate cubs.
