Yes, they do have Matimba blood running through their veins, from their mother, Sassy. In his prime, Skorro Jr was an average sized male lion, as he remains today as well, but a stunningly beautiful one. Between him and his brother, I always felt that Scar had the chance to become the most impressive of them, he was just never able to reach his potential due to illness. In the beginning Scar was the most dominant of the three. Limper was dealing with illness and injury most of his time with the Othawa Pride, and always appeared, to me, to be the smallest of them all.
It is unknown which of the Tumbelas sired the two cubs, it would be between Scar and Skorro Jr, as I don't recall Limper having been seen mating, but in the beginning it was Scar who dominated the mating.
