There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Some sightings of the Mondawane Pride in Tunda Tula

Credits to Chad Cocking

1) All members of the Pride (3 members) killed a Male Kudu (september 30th).

2) they stole a zebra kill from the river pride (october 21th) next night they were found on a Buffalo kill on Nkhari, but when the 10 Young Mayambula Pride arrived, they run away.

3)the Pride pushed a herd of 300 buffalo to North, they tried do bringing down a Buffalo but failed, they were found resting not 150m of the Sark Breakaway pride, they killed something next evening since they were found with Full bellies(november 4th).

I'm not sure if the dates are correct, I'm basing it on when they were posted on Facebook by tunda Tula

Oh wow I didn't know we were privy to that information. Would be cool if someone of us had access to that database. If that's true it goes to show you that not every lion gets infected. I imagine all 4 Shish brothers have shared a few carcuses over the years. It is entirely possible 2 Mbiris dont have it and even more convincing as how they continue to age. Be in remarkable shape, and come back from the brink so many times!

Yeah the black spot we have spoke about here many times. It might be linked to TB or any other disease like Tick born illnesses. Bebesia is another big one and could possibly be cause of black spot or declining health in lions. Could also be any one of the dozens of disgusting tick born illneses lions can get. I guess we pay more attention to BovTB as it's kind of zoonotic as it can spread from Buffalo to felines? Ticks are so prevalent it's kind of natural so they don't get paid attention to as much. Could also be a combo of diseases like TB and Bebesia together or something like that.

With Mohawk Avoca having those hematoma on his elbows was he ever tested? As far as I know he doesn't have the mark.
