There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.
Sekoti of the Renegade coalition with a Northern Pride lioness, some of the lionesses in this pride are actually related to the Renegade coalition as they were sired by their older brothers: Tsekedi, Blondie and Pretty Boy of the Rebel coalition.

I also ended up finding an interesting fact too that Sekekama and TornNose have successfully raised more offspring than we had first thought. Apparently they sired 6 younger males in Marsh Pride who were named separately from M1-M6. That would take their number of males sired to around 19 and even that number isn’t taking into consideration the Machabe males who were most likely sired by them and Tsunami hasn’t been included either. Didn’t include these males to the number as although it’s very likely they were also sired by Sekekama and TornNose, it’s not as official as with the others.
It was perhaps the hugest male lions coaltion in Botswana. It's said that one of these legendary lions weighed 260 kilogramms.
" Located on the border with Botswana, near the Kalahari Desert, Madikwe Game Reserve is the fifth largest game reserve in South Africa.
As one of the lesser known reserves, this hidden gem is considered one of the best conservation areas in Africa, and was once home to large lions."

Big news! Remember when I said Sekekama and TornNose had sired 6 males from the Marsh Pride named seperately from M1 - M6, well it seems they haven’t disappeared like I had previously thought. I’ve asked for more information on these males just to see if they’re still together / dominant over any pride which is possible given they’ve been named. Further cements Sekemama and TornNose already legendary status.
Just found out they control a pride of five lionesses and seven cubs. Seems like it’s still just M1 and M2 together, hopefully the other 4 managed to make something of themselves too.

That boy is so clean and pretty it's almost like a captive male. Geez, that's a pretty boy.

I agree, was just thinking hopefully they stick with M1 and M2 names for time being cos I can really see him being named Pretty Boy. With Sekekama and TornNose already having 2 of their offspring named Pretty Boy, it wouldn’t make sense.
Photos of both brothers - M1 and M2. Not much into debating about size in lions but Tristan in his comments said they’re the biggest lions he’s ever seen and as most of u know, he’s been around a lot of big males especially in Sabi Sands and Manyeleti. I heard these boys, along with their brothers most likely left Marsh Pride with their fathers, some other Marsh Pride members were said to have left with them too. They should be around 5 years old.
