There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Impressive that they took down a full grown buffalo with just two adult lionesses. The Nkuhumas really are buffalo specialists.

Bit worried about them being in Singita though. They need to be careful of the PC males and the Manghenis.

Looks like 2/3 2016 females are still not back in estrus, which is good for the subs if Kambula males will overtook BDMs.

Although 2 BDMs tolerated the subs, its hard to imagen larger group like Kambulas doing the same.

Good for the subs (although they will still be in danger from other lions) and it also reduces the amount of inbreeding if the Kambula males become dominant over the remaining Nkuhumas. If the two lionesses that have gone to Singita are indeed both Birmingham daughters, it means there is only one relative of the Kambula males left in the north.

They’re prolly in the Northern parts of Singita, PCMs rarely travel that far anymore.

Northern Singita isn't that far from their core territory, it's closer than northern Londolozi and we know they've travelled there recently.

Difference is that’s been chasing males who’ve openly been giving up their location whether it’s through making a kill or roaring, doubt Nkuhumas stay there long enough for PCMs to notice.

It's impossible to know, people used to say he resembles Buddy when he was young and fans would call him Buddy Jr. Recently some have challenged this view and claimed he looks more like Jr, showing photos comparisons between them.

Jr had a distinct face that in some angles looked a lot like the handsome oldest Matimba. The Mbiri sub looks a lot like Jr, Skorro however idk, the photos comparisons I saw with Jr where good, but I still lean towards Buddy being more similar looking to him, most of the time.
