Ended up going thru the footage of that injured male once again and come to the conclusion it’s almost impossible for it to be the S.Avoca given that the mane is blonde. Not only that, but the fact NWS males had to have been North Londolozi for guides to assume it was a BDM injured and we all know the S.Avoca stays either South SS or goes into KNP.

Curious if we've had sightings of both Black Dam Males.  I feel like we did as they were both seen mating, but again.. maybe we are getting competing timeline pictures lately?

As much as I wish it wasn’t the case, given that it’s not impossible for them to run into the wrong males and get attacked, them going South into a packed SS area will most likely show if this relationship is short term or long term.

I’m confident the videos of them with the Nkuhuma female was after the video recorded of that injured male. My only other guess, and this is a long shot but it could potentially be one of the Imbali males, we know they’re all blonde and they were in Chitwa Chitwa two days before the BDMs and Nkuhuma Pride come into the area. It’s most likely they either went up North towards Djuma or South to near Mala Mala/Londolozi.

Mane is too big to be Imbali males, I dont think its S.Avoca neither, he has much darker mane.

It has to be one of Skorro B. or BDMs., idk.

Maybe because video quality was so poor, there actually was no any visiable injuries, yet only limp ?? That would explain why no male has any visiable injuries/scars, if those sightings where indeed after that incident.

Yh I was looking for visible injuries and found nothing apart from something going on around the back end of the lion. Could still be either Skorro YM, or BDMs although they would have recovered rapidly.

Seems Talamati YMs and Nkuhuma Male have been together for a few days longer than we had probably imagined. I’ve just seen a guide post a video on their story of all 3 males in Singita, and with them having went to Savanna and then followed buffalo to Sabi Sabi in Southern SS, it seems they’ve travelled a long way together.

An unlikely coalition seems to be forming between the two Talamati males and the lone Nkuhuma male. The three nomadic male lions were found in the southern reaches of Sabi Sabi trailing a large herd of buffalo. It will be interesting to see if the Talamati males accept the Nkuhuma male which could be mutually beneficial to both parties in their pursuit to dominate a territory.

IS this actually Sabi Sabi seeing Kambula and N'Was?  Or are they venturing out of their territory to find them?  It would be odd for all of them to be down in Gijima territory wouldn't it?
