There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Ok, I thought he looked off, mane was much blonder, nose wasn't as broad. I chalked it up due to the time it has been since we last saw him. Thank you!

@"Brahimlegend" , do you know if the Kumana Male had cubs with his pride, possibly the Shishangaan Pride, when he made a coalition with the Maputo Male?

https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=696281088076222 link to a video of the two males together. They were ousted soon after joining and Maputo was seen alone for a few months till he found a new coalition partner. They are called the Maputo males now. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CvKd25yL6Yj/ more on the new partner.

Thank you for this! I am currently in an Instagram suspension, though I don't know why. I don't post anything there, commentary or images, and I only access it from a single PC, and suddenly two days ago the shared images on here stopped working, and I was informed my account had been cancelled, so I am currently appealing, which they make you send hostage proof of life type of photos, holding a piece of paper with some stuff written on it. We shall see how it goes.

Yeah he had cubs in 2021 with Shish Pride when Maputo came then the pride split up a while. I remember sightings of Maputo chasing them once not sure if he killed them. Then I remember in 2022 they both were seen with cubs. Then later that year trichardt males came and pride split again. But I don't remember them mentioning the cubs dying but they must have

It seems so strange for a dominant male to accept a coalition partner, so the shift in dynamics would be very interesting to understand.
