@KM600 Just a bit surprised.

Kambulas have twice the PCM numbers, 3/4 are 5yo and they have scent-marked and roared recently so they having been easily chased is worth noticing.

With lions confidence is a big thing. The way PCMs go after intruders and the confidence they have from winning every altercations they have been in is hard to go up against for a young coalition even with twice the numbers.

That was 1 month ago, not saying it would be different now, but i dont think Kambulas where in PCMs territory, at that time, to challenge them or anything, Singita and that area is their usual route.

Regardless, 1, or even few chases means nothing, 2.S.Avocas chased out 7 males numerous times, and still lost.

For now Kambulas still didnt challenge any territorial males, they are just bullying other nomads and (unprotected) prides.

Will they stay up north and challenge BDMs/S8 is yet to be seen.

Yeah but they started roaring and scent-marking one month ago, but no, they weren't in PCM territory, but their actions show their territorial behavior, recently they have switched from full nomads to males wanting to take a territory.

And I never said I think this chase means something in the grand scheme of things, I've always said I thought Kambulas would oust PCM eventually because their numbers are too big ( if they go in that direction, which I think they will ). But only a small correction, Avocas chased 6 males, once. And 5 when they injured Delaporte. They never chased 7, nevermind multiple times, and it was also obvious they would lose the war, we were only surprised they gave so much trouble to Nkhulus.

Its one thing to go out and roar and scentmark somewhere in a empty territory none of the other lions are really interested in. Its another to actually start a conflict with a rival group over desirable land and prides. These boys are apparently just not ready for conflicts yet.

Anything could still happen really. They can abandon their dad to finally go out into full nomadhood. They can all be picked off and killed one by one by rival groups. They can decide to move west and take ont he PCmales. Move north into the reserves there. South and take out the N'was, Gijimas. Clash with the Nkhulus or disapear into kruger.

Did nobody notice what looks like older injuries on S8 inner leg/groin area?

That injury on his face might not be from 1vs1 fight afterall, as these looks like bites, and by the state/color of these injuries and face injury, from the same period.

Noticed it initially and didn’t say anything as the photo isn’t clear enough but it’s definitely something.

At first him and Skorro Tumbela really confused me especially as they both seem to like being alone aswell as the names, weird thing is Skorro YM is primarily in Londolozi so u would have thought there would be interactions between him, Kambula YMs, Talamati YMs and Nkuhuma but seems there haven’t been.

Same thing with Wonky, he is seen often in that same general vicinity. I am surprised he hasn't run into him either. One thing is for certain, if they do bump into each other, Wonky will definitely share a meal with him. Unfortunately, we haven't heard much from Wonky in a bit.
