There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Interesting, this is the first I have heard it mentioned that there was an altercation between the Nkhulus and the S Avocas, and an implication that it may have resulted in the injured S Avoca and cause of the missing one. Only altercation between the two groups I am aware of resulted in Dreadlocks being badly mauled, and I am not sure he has been seen since just a few days after that, and I am not sure the 6th Nkhulu has been seen since then as well..

Sorry fella, I can't tell you whether this is true information/based on any facts, after all, as it was written, the short text was written by a Facebook user, whether it was reliable information or not its another story...
For this reason I edited the post and removed such speculations

No apologies necessary, that was not my intention. I was merely trying to find out if something had been reported that had not yet been mentioned here, that is all. Following these cats is very fluid more often than not, the news we receive can be delayed and we often get it out of order, or find out information quite a long time after the fact. While we need to be as accurate as is possible, there are sometimes gaps or lapses in the information we have received. We do the best we can with what we have. Cheers, my friend!

I'm friends with Lokender on social media. He is a good source of info as he is like us, he gets info from guides/Rangers, etc... but still just speculation  and I take how he wrote the update, he basically implied it was speculation or a "maybe" event.  Hopefully we get some more concrete info on what happened.

Nobody knows what happened to missing S.Avocas, Nkhulus and Leeubrons are just speculations.

"Mother Nature is brutal…This took place on our game drive today. Right place at the right time, though very sad indeed. Poor mother lioness, devastated. Male from another pride, known as the Lion Killers. Warning: Graphic footage."

I was half-asleep when I saw this post with Snip-Tail just standing there in front of the cub and my first thought was: "I didn't know the Nkhulu males had cubs already, nevermind cubs of that age".

That was until I scrolled further down on the subsequent images and video footage.
