There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

K3 looks younger than k6? K6 mane is looking marvelous like his half bro the torchwood male when around same age. Is it the right i.d? If so, what happened to k3? Is his growth stunted?

K3 was attacked by Gijima males few months ago and was limping for a while, after that his condition and mane deteriorated, but he is recovering slowly.

Isn't this common? Nomadic lions (mainly in coalitions with 3 individuals or more+) have the facility to take down buffalo?
Especially in their case, which are not only four males but also have the help of their sister.

Kambula young male, K1.

He and K2 (not pictured) were seen in the morning of today, marking territory near Skukuza in Kruger.
It's still not known if they have taken over a pride or is still in progress in taking over one.
