There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

He was allegedly weighed at 190 lbs or 86 kg, close to the outlier individuals in the range of 90-100 kg

An enormous and very bulky male sadly hunted in the Aberdares, no weight provided.
In terms of build Aberdare leopards seem to be easily the most impressive among all leopard populations, despite them seeming like they have some of the largest and widest skulls (they are abnormally round, jaguar-like almost) all the data on these cats is almost non existent bar a 204 lb (92.5 kg) male hunted with a 285 mm long skull and an estimated 211 - 220 lb monster that was hunted down in the same region

An enormous male from Africa walking past an adult Wildebeest kill. This has to be one of the largest leopards I've seen footage of from Africa, the head is massive and reminds me of Aberdare ones, not to mention its very bulky and heavyweight body. Has to be a freak specimen
