Yes, Leeupan males where prob ousted by Fourways/Torchwoods in 2020, after that 1 male was few times seen but he also disappeared.

Son is prob around 5-6, he is now with H10 male, he was seen before with s129.

Some updates:
The Sweni Mega Lion Pride currently consist of 5 Lionesses, 3 Huge Males and 9 cute playful Cubs, where some of them have becoming sub-adults now.

The Original three males that ruled the Sweni pride till around 2018/2019 took over the N’wanetsi pride, up further north, during 2019 - now only one male remains. The other two probably died during the COVID lock-down in 2020.

We are not sure about the origin of the current three Sweni Males.
One thing we know for sure is that this is probably one of the most stable and successful Lion Prides currently in Kruger National Park.
The three Pride Males are most of the time in the presence of the females and cubs and their bellies are full every time we spot them.
Their territory is along the Sweni River and the adjacent Sweni plains where you will find lots and lots of Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffe as well as the occasional passing of Buffalo herds.

THEIR CLOSEST RIVALS ARE:
To the North:
The Two Nkaya Males, often recently seen with the Nsemani lionesses     because The Nsemani Pride Males, Rockfig and Senior Mbiri, are at the end of their lifespan

And the Four Shish Males - Casper the White Lion and Brothers that control the Satara Pride

To the East:
The Seven Southern Pride Males And the Two Kumana and Maputo Males that now control the Shishangaan Pride in which Casper and Brothers were born

To the South:
The One Hamiltons Male, a nomad And the Two Nwaswitsontso Males that now control the Hamiltons Pride .

The 2 Sweni males didn't disappear during lockdown, one vanished in 2019 and the other vanished late 2020 or early 2021. Not early 2020 lockdown. Casper and bros rule Central pride in satara as the head guide at Satara has said and he is the guide always mentioned in sanparks reports so we should listen to him and there is multiple prides in Satara. and Hamilton male is not a nomad he's always seen with females, have a sighting of him recently with several.

Look at his size, so big compared to the lionesses, even when she is in front of him. This is the Matimba bloodline for you: all their sons are huge

Hamilton male. Seen on the riverbed next to the S125 on Sunday. He was with a few lionesses and 2 or 3 cubs.

One of the grumpiest male lions I have ever come across. We found a mating pair of lions on the S112 one early morning, but the male was growling non stop. During mating, after mating, when lying, when walking, he had a constant growl. He was not in the mood to be bothered and made sure everybody knows that he is the boss and won't think twice about taking any intruders on. At one stage he followed the lioness past our vehicle, but instead of just walking past, like she did, he actually took two steps towards us when he was right next to our vehicle with a very intimidating stare. I also want to urge people to listen to your guides and abide by the rules, there are reasons why you should not hang through windows and sunroofs, especially at sightings like these, one of the guests on a game viewing vehicle stood up inside the vehicle and this male immediately reacted to that person, showing his displeasure.

It was an amazing experience to see these apex predators of the bush up close and to again realise the size and power of these magnificent animals.
