NKuhuma male and Nhenha in Londolozi yesterday. Only Nkuhuma male is pictured but lions_sabisands asked him if he was alone in the comments and Gaurab mentioned he was with an older male sleeping in the bushes.

We watched the Birmingham male lion and the Nkuhuma male lion hunting some buffalo. Knowing that these two are not dominant at Sabi Sabi, it was extremely interesting to see what happened when we heard male lions in the distance vocalising, possibly the N’waswishaka males. These two nomadic males became instantly alert, abandoned their hunt, and moved in the opposite direction.

Dont think so, yes he might get caught as any lion, but as he behaves like nomad, he will definitely stay quiet and try to avoid any dominant males.
Will be interesting to see what happens with DM, looks like reunion with his brothers falls flat, his brothers and Nkuhumas must have rejected him, otherwise he wouldn't move away from them, most recently he was seen at Nottens, deep into Nwaswitshakas territory.
I think in future he might again try to rejoin his brothers, but with Mohawk behaving so dominant i wouldn't put much fate in that..
2nd scenario might be that he links up with Nkuhuma and Nhenha, all 3 nomadic males are in center Sabi Sands, so if they bump into each others, all 3 might join forces, and wouldn't that be awesome storyline.

Well he definitely got pressured and chased by Imbali male in late 2021.
Also, his brothers being chased back further north around the same time was prob not good for him either, as we see, his brothers are not exactly allies anymore, not saying that they would attack him, they wouldn't, but they are not accepting him either, Mohawk is definitely more dominant and prob stronger then him, so he couldn't "challenge" him and show him that this is his territory.
So he was basically squeezed in between Imbali male and his brothers, and he didn't stand up to neither, he might just now start ti look like nomadic male, but he didn't behave like dominant male for months now, he was basically follow Talamatis for food, i cant remember see him roaring or scent marking in recent months on WildEarth.. And with Talamatis abandoning him, he didn't have any reason to stay there alone anymore.
So i wouldn't say that he became nomadic for no reason, he definitely lost "grip" on his territory..
S8 male didn't really contest his territory, even after the incident on the buffallo(?) kill. He stays around central & eastern buffelshoek closer to the Manyeleti border around Broken dam and Jordaans dam. Dark mane had the far western side of Buffelshoek (which him and Talamatis still used to go into the Manyeleti as late as January 2022) and then the whole north of Djuma (if we consider his brothers to be competitors, if not then he had the whole of Djuma)
Wasn't he on a kill with Mohawk in December? Or did that turn out to be Blondie?
