Great recent sighting of the remaining Bayala male.
After he losing his brother in a territorial battle by the two Northern males, the last Bayala show his face in a rare appearance, he still retains part of his lands, but the Northern males are still marching south towards his territory.
Bayala, South Africa.

Snip-Tail Mpondo back home!
He took over a kill from one of the Windmill females between the 2 Lodges at Jock yesterday… He looks nomadic now...
Note: The 5 Mpondos were not all related 3 different sets of males came together from different prides. Snip-Tail here and a brother who is missing were born into Jock pride ( similar to the Old Jocks, Young Jocks and other impressive males who come from this pride) so he’s in a way came back to his birth place.
Mpondo Last status: 5th Mpondo died late last year from fighting injuries. Amber eyes and the other Jock born Mpondo are missing since November last year seen on s65. Blondie Mpondo is missing since January this year, he was seen battle scared hanging with the Windmill pride and then vanished. And then Snip-Tail who was with the Nwaswitshaka pride on S65 with new cubs not long ago and then now has returned to Jock concession alone.

No idea who the male is, as photo is not great, but i doubt he would be able to oust Snip Tail alone, so he prob has partners..
North of the area are Renosterkoppies males, but he doesn't look like one of them, south are 3 Biyamiti young males, but this male looks a bit older then them, althrough we didn't see recent photos of 2 Biyamitis, except the one with blind eye..
Two other males (assumed to be the 2 Mjejane males) were also on Mjejane, and so Mo moved on to the rocks in the middle of the river, listening to the other males who were vocalizing. The lone lioness was also calling, perhaps to distract the other males. Mo then headed in to Kruger, and so did the other males. When the other males were back in Kruger, Mo then returned to Mjejane to be with his lady.
