This 10 year old male tiger was found dead in Kishanpur range of Dudhwa with an unusual swollen neck. Could be the male with a nylon snare around it’s neck for the past two months which the department couldn’t remove. Organs are intact, so no poaching involved. Details of post mortem awaited.

Remember this photo with 5 cubs that went viral?

This is Beldanda female of Kishanpur zone of Dudhwa. 5 months later, all those cubs were killed. She littered again in late 2020, and again all 4 of her cubs were killed. This is her now:

What has also come to light is the male who killed her latest litter is none other than the one who was found dead yesterday as posted on #707.

@Pckts, look at the frame on all those animals, even the cubs look longer.

He’s known as the thunder male, I’m not sure if they’re one and the same though.

Next picture this died tiger and that boy are different, notice the mark,so the died tiger was not the neck hurt tiger, and I don't think the neck hurt can seriously effect the tiger,he is a health tiger.

Isn't that the same one which was said to be weighed 345 or 350 kg something?

@Roflcopters That massive male is the one Dr Jamshed claims to be 340 kilos. The female in the picture is huge actually (170+ kilos). And, you can see how he dwarfs her. Even if he isn’t 340 kilos, he is most definitely in the 99.9th percentile of wild tigers in terms of size. Personally, the Rajaji giant still seems bigger.
