Another massive male from this area, Yungas cougars seem especially robust
Iberá wetlands
Another amazing footage of a tom in Iberá, these cougars look very large and robust as well. Much like jaguars they were extirpated from the area last century but have been recolonizing it on their own ever since, the competitive release from not having jaguars around probably allows them to hunt the abundant large prey in the park which in turns makes them really big, it will be interesting to see how the dynamics change once jaguars have been established in the area.
