Agree, i think i never seen such a dark mane on a lion who just turned 5 yrs of age, amazing.

I could think of few like for example Monwana boys. The more dominant Matshapiri also had very dark kind of mane. Here he at around 5 years old as well:

I was a big fan of the Matshpiris, that's the Mohawk Matshpiri though and the less dominant one as far as I know. That young male is his spitting image at the same age though.

Idk if there where only 2 or more on this sighting.

Originaly there where 4 of them, 1 older, first male on those pictures, thats the male who is known as Mpondos son :

Althrough he is most likely older and sired by Stolsnek males, before Mpondos conquered Renosterkoppies and he was prob adopted by Mpondos.

Younger male is 1 of the 3 Mpondos son from Renosterkoppies pride, They went nomadic in late 2019 after their fathers moved south and DeLaportes moved in their area... Idk if theres only this one left of the 3..

Yea that was obivious from their looks, sons of Scar and the male who was often with him, "Last Skybed"..

Last Skybed was seen with this 2 males and a pride  in late 2019 in south Manyeleti.

Any info about the 3rd male who was seen with them at Imbali?

There is reports of other males in area and also that one at imbali but they have been seen since and before a lot of times just two and I went through all pictures of these guys available and I could not find any proof the other males are indeed in partnership with these two. And local guides only confirmed two. So for now just two.
