Great news! The last Eastern Bank male has been seen. He is the new partner of the South Shishangeni male. They have been seen together previously with a lioness and now together again .

-The 2 last Vurhami boys-

It’s been a privilege watching these boys grow over the last few years ♥️? (Beautiful Mo and his Bro) People always told me the chances of them returning “home” were rather slim, yet here they are back in the Croc Bridge Area. It breaks my heart that male lions have it so tough. After losing 4 of their brothers on Mjejane, these 2 have managed to stay safe and alive, and Mo doesn’t seem too concerned about other lions in the area, as he’s roaring and marking territory. I always knew he’d be the toughest of the boys (Just like his father, a legendary Shishangeni male).

Unfortunately chances of them to become dominant in that area is very slim.. 5 Gomondwanes are pushing further west, because of that 2 Shishangenis are moving further west alongside s25 and 2 powerful Lubyelubyes are a bit north around h5/h4-2 junction .. Not an easy area to become dominant thats for sure..

Will be interesting to see how this plays out, 4 Hippo Pools males are also not far away..
