Keep an eye out!.. To catalogue wildlife, Gujarat DCF asked field staff to click photographs of flora and fauna in area, will be posting best photographs on his social media account giving due credit to photographers.

I love this young lion's gaze, day after day he's getting stronger. A new blood is irrigating its veins and it will conquer a big territory later. Life is an eternal resumption. No matter if its specy almost totally disapeared a century ago. Reply

Perhaps the first ones (first and second) are showing Asiatic lions in wild, but the following ones are clearly taken in a rural, or suburb landscape... I like the Asiatic male lion's face but that shows a serious problem: the permanent confrontation between a wild predator with a inhabitants population. There are the alley cats and the other cats, the stray dogs and the other dogs. IMO there is something like that as concerns the lions. Asiatic male lions don't seem to be as proud as the African lions, less clean ; too big to been called "alley lions", so stray lions ? It's the problem of a too big proximity with the human settlements.

Are they eating a domestic cattle ?
