There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

He was snared, poached. Don't know about the broken back.
You confuse two different situations. He was found with a "snare" about year before he died. Vet has been informed about that, but after closer inspection "snare" turned out to be purcupine spike and no intervention was needed.

This morning we were surprised by the two Charleston males moving around the central part of Sabi Sabi! It’s good to have the two males back, but for how long, we do not know… Sabi Sabi PGR,Posted: 19/08/17. Photo credit to: Francois Rosslee
